Filtered Containment Venting System
FCVS has been developed as one of Post-Fukushima implementation to secure containment integrity during a severe accident scenario by providing containment venting through a filtration system.
Development of filtered venting system to prevent containment damage and to minimize the risk of radioactive material release by discharging to the atmosphere after filtration.
Developed FCVS is based on the combination of wet and dry filtration process and has multiple scrubbing stages againt radioactive materials, which is applicable to all types of nuclear power plants.
